BOSTON, MA – Guided Surgery Solutions, LLC was mentioned in The Huffington Post article “3 Changes to Expect From The Electronics Market in 2013” on January 8th. The article was written from The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2013 by Francisco Aguilar, CEO of Bounce Imaging. The article discusses a new era of hardware, especially within the start up space. Aguilar focuses on three changes the electronics market will make in 2013, including how hardware will allow for “products that are increasingly tailored for specific markets and specific needs rather than a more vague and unspecified ‘consumer’.”

As an example, a fellow winning hardware startup at MassChallenge, Guided Surgery Solutions, is using 3-D printing to create patient-specific surgical guides for use in dentistry.
